How do you remove the nut attached to the fuel rail? It is the closest to the firewall slightly under the fpr flange? I've tried every tool I have and can't even reach it. It is on the bottom side of the rail connecting a flange that is attached to the rail(the top side has the zip-tie that holds the wire loom on.

ive never had a problem with that nut. youre talking about the one that also holds the intake mani to the head right? try some wobble extensions and/or a u-joint. mines real easy to get to.

I believe that's the one, the other 2 were on the intake manifold. I couldn't even get a finger on it. Did you remove any thing else to reach it?

I think so too. I was planning on doing the head gasket anyway, so I might as well do it all now. I have an extra set of injectors from a sr20de that I was gonna send to Deatschwerks as a trade to get these reworked. Should be a fun next couple of days. The problem is I think one of them is staying opened and it slowly floods if you don't start it at least every 2 days.
