Our 2009 Murano was parked outside and locked for 6 hours. when I came back out the two front windows were down. I know that I did not lower the windows and I used the key to lock the car. How is it possible that these windows were opened? It was raining and now the car seats and floor covers are wet.

Did you have the key in your pocket, maybe open button got accidentally pressed? I think if you press the open button for few seconds it lowers the windows.

Thanks JMN: I just went out to the garage and tried holding down the lock button and sure enough both front windows both came down together. My wife had parked the car at a friend's house and had somethings in her hand when she locked the door. She must have held it down longer than she intended. Your quick answer sets our minds at ease. Thanks Ambush
