New Murano owner here. Hi!! Not a new Nissan owner though.

I recently bought a low mile 05 Murano. I love it except I can't get the factory Sirius radio to work. I have created a account and all that, but the radio will not go to the station needed to get the activation signal. 184, I recall. Instead all it does is flip beteeen saying "radio ID" and that ID number. When I try to go through the station numbers, it just keeps going and will not stop on that or any other station. Nissan thinks it''s ok, although I really don't think they tried very hard to fix it when I had the vehicle in for other service.

Any one else had this issue or know what to do? Everything else works of the electronics in the vehicle.

Hey Gouda,

Did you find out what's wrong with your Sirius activation? I also cannot activate, got a used 2007 Versa SL with the factory 6-disc changer radio, and although I have the Sirius tuner installed, it just flashes "Call 888-538-SIRIUS" even after giving Sirius the ESN number. Sirius customer support can't help. May have to call a Nissan dealer. Bought the car used from a Toyota dealer, and of course they're no help.

Any help appreciated!

I know this an old thread but I too bought a pre-owned 2007 nissan quest and I am having the exact same issues. Sirius is telling me it needs a hard reset of the reciever but there is no info on how to do it.

any help is greatly appreciated.thanks.

Welcome to the Murano Forum! Glad to have you here.

I am not sure how Sirius works, but on XM, you can log on to your account online to perform the "hard reset." Let me know if this works.
