Under the hood, I accidently pulled out one of the ignition coil plugs WHILE THE CAR WAS ON. Now the SES light is on. Tried resetting the car by dis-connecting the (-) of the battery and still no luck. Im trying to avoid a trip to the dealership so any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks

You may need to keep the battery disconnected for a number of hours in order for the ECU to reset. For the most part, it should go away by itself in a number of days.

So there is no permanent damage done by pulling out that plug? I was planning on still taking it to AutoZone and getting it read regardless just to be safe.

Also, when I tried to start the vehicle earlier it wouldnt start for whatever reason. 10-15mins later (Note that the car still hasnt been touched by anyone) it started up fine?!
