murano locking beep

I have an odd issue, my murano does not beep when I lock it. The first thing I did was read the manual and I thought great, just hold in the lock and unlock buttons for 10 seconds, tried it and it beeped, confirming that it was in beep mode, then I hit the lock button and still didn't beep, I tried it several times in both modes with no luck. I also made sure the setting on the console was set to beep mode, still didn't work, the horn works, and works when switching modes with key fob but not when locking, I'm stumped, could it be a fuse....I don't think so but nothing would surprise me at this point

That is a little strange. Mine by default right now is... honks when I lock from the key fob but beeps when I use the door buttons. (That's what the settings show as well.)

You got to go in the panel control and do the reset the function , you will have the horn on when locking ,
you can also choose to not have the horn alert by clicking on or off the function.
