Has anyone had the leather steering wheel cover professionally refinished? Mine is noticeably worn (light beige) at the 12oclock position from daily parking garage driving. I have found several companies including one in my area that will prime, fill, sand, and re dye the wheel but am concerned about cost / quality versus a new wheel. The claims are great but I wonder if anyone has tried this.

Check out http://www.courtesyparts.com for the price of a new steering wheel, they are usually pretty reasonable.
