We just purchased a used 2009 Murano SL with the panoramic factory sunroof. With the sunroof all the way open, the glass portion does not move all the way past the opening of when there roof opening/shade is cut.

Is this normal? Should the size of the interior opening be all the say clear with the glass sunroof fully open or does some still show?

Please advise, not sure if I need to have the dealer we bought from address this as part of the 30 day warrenty items.

I found in the manual the 'reset' option, went through that, still opens same amount.

Thanks

Welcome to the Murano Forum! Sorry for the late response! No, the roof does not completely open, that is totally normal!

Thanks for the confirmation Timmbo. I actually did stop by a dealer and just ask to look at a 2010 on the lot and said I just wanted to open the sunroof. Glad to know mine is functioning as designed, not sure why designed like that though...

I think most vehicles that have a sunroof that tucks inside of the roof when open is usually obstructing the opening slightly. All depends how much room is in the roof of the vehicle to store the glass.
