any change in throttle application or road grade is going to cause rpm fluctuation due to the CVT adjusting to conditions and keeping the engine in its appropriate power band.

Thanks..so it is normal for the CVT to have fluctuating rpm, because this rpm fluctuate whenever speed goes beyond 140 km/hr

Unless my calculations are off, isn't this almost 90 MPH? Who is driving a Murano that fast - at least for any length of time?

Unless you can legally drive that fast in abu dhabi UAE (wherever that is). In which case - if you can - please tell us more about it. Lots of drivers who like to speed might want to relocate there.
