What I notice when driving is that my tachometer will very slowly keep increasing until it maxes out past the 9k mark. The engine is not running at that speed of course. I can take a video of what my instrument panel looks like while I am driving if that would help anyone help me diagnose what the prob is. I guess my main question would be that is one of those sensors failing causing any of the other sensors to malfunction? I know general rule of thumb is to start with the cheapest option, but if that doesn't fix it, I'm out the $100+ for the cheapest part and that's not even including labor if I can't do it myself.
