good morning all,

I have a 2009 rogue and the AWD, ABS, VDC off lights are on. I changed the switch for the AWD/VDC off thinking that might be the problem but they are still on. I checked the wheel speed sensors and they are ok. I have seen numerous solutions on Youtube but everything I tried has not worked. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Secondly, the truck will not complete all the emissions readiness test, mainly the o2 sensor, Catalyst and Evap tests. I have driven the truck up to 800 miles and it still shows "not ready" when I go to take emissions. I changed the battery and cleaned the throttle plate as instructed from Youtube but that didn't help.

Thanks!!

ABS and slip can light up because of an engine problem, but there would be a lit MIL along with it. If there's no MIL, chances are something is wrong in the ABS system like a bad wheel sensor. You need to have it scanned with an ABS-capable tool.

If there are no codes but your SRT's won't complete, it may be that your normal driving patterns don't meet the requirements needed for completion. In that case you'll need to drive the specific pattern called for in order to complete and clear. See EC-566 for how it works:

ok thanks I will have it scanned, I think my bluedriver can scan abs. if not I will take it to a mechanic. I don't have any codes so I will see about driving in the specific pattern.

Most parts stores have ABS-capable scanners, they just won't clear codes for you, only read them.
