My AVCR has a scramble button which I have currently set to increase boost instantly from 7 to 12 PSI. It also has a mode where you can set boost by gear, rpms, speed etc.

Ghey question/thread

In addition to an electronic boost controller, you can also switch map tunes if you buy a standalone. Which means, if you're at the track and off the street, and you decide to turn up the boost with some race gas/ methanol injection, you can just switch the maps that has the tune for it. Once you're back on the street just turn it back to your street tune and turn the boost down on your EBC.

Don't worry about other people...no such thing as a stupid question, just a stupid answer. However, I do stress that research is key.

EDIT: Also, one of my pet peeves are broad topic titles. Not because I'm lazy or anything, but the fact that it makes the search button more useless when we have titles that offer no keywords

good luck

True but there is such thing as a ghey one. The simple concept of boost control would have answered this question had it been thought about long enough. Oh wait. That's the problem.

Lighten up...its up to the Moderators (thats me) to address threads and posts that are or aren't worthy of staying in KAT or any other Nico forum. I've read thousands of Noob threads and this one atleast is an honest question that hasn't been addressed lately. Unlike people just asking how much horsepower they'll make with such and such setup.

Everyone is a noob at somthing at somtime...

Its also my job to change and correct titles, like I did in this thread for instance.

I've been running a TurboXS Dual Stg Boost Controller since 99, it works awsome and without fail everytime. Simply fliping a toggle switch changes from low to high boost. So yes is the answer to your question. You can run 2 or even 3 stages of boost if you'd like to.

Feel free to post any questions you have. Granted, thats not a free pass from actually reading up on things. But don't fear any retribution from the other members. If I think the thread is retarded, I'll either delete it or more then likely lock it and leave a message as to why.

You're already 3 steps ahead of most of these mongoloids because you use capital letters and punctuation. Which I greatly appreciate it.
