New poster to this forum and relatively new to this car, but I've gained valuable info from this forum over the past 6-7 months. I've tried searching for help with my issue but haven't had much luck. Last night as I was leaving to head home, my GPS safety screen didn't come on when the car was cranked, went straight to temperature controls and radio screen. So I pushed the Map button and nothing happened. Then realized Map, Destination, and Route buttons did nothing, netiher did the direction buttons, or the center, Back or Voice buttons on the centrol control wheel. Also, #1 of the radio pre-set buttons also did nothing. Very strange. I can access GPS through Voice controls but that is it, so now it perpetually tries to navigate me to that one destination that was programmed in when the buttons failed. I can change it via voice, but I can't cancel the route via voice (must cancel with the Route button). I plan to check fuses tonight and also remove the control panel and look for loose connections but the Service Manual Instrument Panel (IP) section doesn't pull up from the link that is provided in this forum. I need page IP-11. All the other service manuals work, but for some reason that one doesn't. Would someone offer me assistance in what I need to remove to gain access to the connections to the Multi-Function controls? Also, if anyone has ideas on why my buttons suddenly stopped working, I'm open to ideas!
Thanks!
