Muggy Weld is something I've been telling people about for quite some time now. But every time I mention it people always give me the, "that's the first time I'm hearing about this" face. It's awesome and it can do just about anything. I stumbled upon this video while I was looking for a reference for another project and figured I'd share. Not everyday you see the 320 getting some love.

I guess my only questions are how does this stuff handle the chemical baths for new chrome plating and at 20,000psi I would guess it can bond two pieces of white metal/pot metal?

Time to fix some of my Tootsie Toys too!

thanks

I actually stopped by their booth at SEMA / AAPEX - Super-impressive stuff, and they indicated it can be plated over just fine.

I watched them bond brass to aluminum, and pot metal to white metal... there's 2 different products, but the one we'd use more often is the one in the video.

If you guys would like to go in and split an order, let me know... I have some NL320 taillight housings to repair.

The guy that turned me on to this stuff used it for everything. He had ALL sorts of custom brackets, fittings, lines etc on his truck. The ability to join dissimilar metals really allows for some creativity.
