Muffler rattle

Is there a product that withstand high heat temp that acts kinda like an insulator or cushion? I need to put it on a specific spot on my muffler.

Use the stuff that the mufflers are packed with. I am not sure what it is called.

Yes. It would be the only matterial that I can think of that will resist the heat for a long period of time. If you check around at the muffler shops, I am sure that you could find some used stuff for free, or very little cost.
