Input please

I know a few on here have made some changes to there exhaust....i have the funds now and i want a better sound...on my 03 M45.....so...

so would just changing the muffler to an aftermarket muffler itself accomplish that???

And i know if i tell the muffler guy to do a exhaust set-up, i am afraid he will just gut all that crap out and pipe it from the cat or something and i will lose on low end torque

I would like to know what exactly would i need to keep...in order to maintain...and not lose performance...but gain a little more sound...i want to hear that V8 grumble...so that i know what to buy and tell the exhaust guy

These are for the Fuga, not the Y34 Ced/Glo. There are no exhaust to my knowledge that are made specifically for the US spec Y34. All the J-spec exhausts are for the V6's in Japan.

Sorry....

There are a few set ups out there. Depending on where you live(if it is legal) you can remove lots of stuff keep the same size pipe.

I personally would do true dual exhaust and keep the same size pipe as what comes off of the collector before it Ys together. Add an equalizer pipe and do hi-flow mufflers and hi flow cats if you have to.

This is my next mod if you keep up with me I will dyno when I am done. Just like the before and after K& N test.
