Hey, just wondering why you would not recommend painting stainless steel.
So I bought the rust oleum high heat automotive spray paint as suggested above from home depot. Now I'm reading that for best results, using a high heat primer would be beneficial in order for the paint to last longer on stainless steel. Is this true?
I am looking to purchase this..

Or is it not needed at all? Also, should I sand the steel cover before applying the spray paint? Looking to do this DIY over this weekend.
