Passenger side muffler broke when the heat shield hit a pot hole and eventually a week later noticed the muffler sagging. Took to a shop and they said the other side is starting to go as well, I will be shopping for a new pair of mufflers, but don't know the original part number for the 06 m35x I have. Can anyone help with this, or even recommend a better muffler maybe with a sportier sound?

*Note: I am part of the broke college student club

Thanks in advance

Time for a muffler delete? Keep the tips and go straight pipe from the axle back?
Let me know how it sounds.

The passenger side OEM muffler part number is 20100EJ80A...Looks like it runs about $500 (yikes).

The Megan Racing axle back is a great option, if that is what you are looking for...$330.

As always, RockAuto can be your friend...I went with the BOSAL 145277...$95. You get what you pay for, but it works great and if you pull off the tips from the OEM, it looks great, too.

Just as an update and for anyone needing it in the future, I bought a pair from here: https://www.macautoparts.net/brand-new- ... -m35-06-10

$179.95

Havnt received them yet, but I think its a great price for a 5 year warranty and OEM both side mufflers with chrome tips.
