msd ignition, worth it?

I am focusing on building the chassis of my s14 first, suspension, diff, bushings. However I wanted my stock motor to run its best and get decent gas milage. all that I have for the motor is a Megan racing cat back, is the MSD ignition a good investment for the time being and what do I need to do a clean install. Thanks!

unless you're going turbo soon then theres no point, keep it stock, just get fresh rotor/cap/plugs/plug wires and you're good to go.
