If you wanted to, you would need a special modified cap. I used to have one when I bought my ignition (from a guy with an S14), but I tossed it. I really don't know if it's worth it unless you are pulling serious boost. And the coil by itself is like masturbatlon. Without the box, you're just jerking off.

The short answer is yes, but the truth you seek is more complicated than that. (How Yoda was that?!?!)

YOU DON'T NEED TO!

The stock internal coil is strong enough to support close to 400ft/lbs of torque, maybe even more, on the KA.

The short answer is it would be stupid to waste time/money on it instead of focusing those funds to something that will benefit your setup.

Agreed, I boosted 20 psi with before my motor went and the spark was strong the whole time. Proper wires and plugs with proper gap will be all you need.

Glad you got the BTM wired up. I couldn't find the damn wiring info I had. You wouldn't by chance have pics and a writeup for me to add to the sticky would ya??
