I was just wondering if this would be a good choice for a nitrous application....I am not sure if the MSD 6AL changes timing when it notices nitrous use, or if you have to do it yourself...I don't want to have to manually change the timing when i go to use the nitrous. I want to run advanced normally, and then have the timing retard when i use nitrous automatically so i am not sacrificing by have the timing retarded all the time. Plus i kinda like the rev control. And where would i get the wiring harness for a 240? Let me know what you think

on the 6AL, you have to change the timing yourself. the MSD7 changes it automatically IIRC...But, the 6AL is a great improvement to the stock ignition system :)

you can also set the 6AL's rev-limiter. which is a spark cut, and not a fuel cut like the factory's rev-limiter. hit the factory rev-limiter on N2O and say bye-bye engine!

That is the main reason why i wanted the 6AL was for the rev limiter....I know it is off the original subject but how much would it help out overall to get custom 2.5 inch exhaust piping, and if i got a walbro 255 fuel pump could i run a 75 shot with no problems at all?

You can actually run that off of the stock pump and ignition system, so yes, no problems with that set up.
