1lap is all it took. And it's a bit worse, the rear is banged up nicely too..

Ouch...that bites. I've always wanted to try sliding an mr2. Preferably the newer one (second gen?) not the mrS spyder but the sw20 i think. A non turbo of that would be a wild ride to try and slide about.

Too bad for this guy though. How much hp do those old mr2's make anyway? The ones I have watched autocross seemed very underpowered but it could have just been the driver. :/

Well the car is not really meant to be drifted, but he pushed it REAL HARD at his first lap...first attempt ever...with an open diff..woot

That gen MR2 made 114 HP for the NA, and 140 for the supercharged versions.Heh, I had a friend do the exact same thing on the first lap of a 4-banger Endurorace...with the same car...except he flipped it...
