Hey guys, I just received my MR Test Pipe and have a quick question about it. On the test pipe there is a welded on threaded bung. What is this for? When I saw the picture I thought it might be an o2 sensor bung but when I received it, saw that it was much too small for an o2 sensor. Then I thought it might be for an EGT sensor but that seems a little far down the exhaust system for an EGT sensor. Usually they're right after the turbo in the downpipe. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I would think its for the O2 sensor. Looking other test pipes they don't have a bung or anything. If everything else is hooked up then mabe just plug it up. Thats all I can think to do.

well, I know it's not for a regular oem o2 sensor. I haven't seen a wideband, so maybe they're smaller than reg o2 sensors. I doubt it though.

I believe they mocked the test pipe off of a JDM car.

They have a temperature sender in the cat, (to tell you when it is overheating to stop damage). It looks to be about the same size and the opening on the megan pipe.
