After taking my Q to the dealership about two months ago I got a big to do list for about $244. Since then I've had the engine replaced with metal chain guides, differential which was making wierd noises when the car was shut off and my out of balance drive shaft. Now after I got my Q out the shop for those repairs I noticed that I was'nt getting all the power so I took it to a shop for diagnostics and was told that I needed another transmission, which the dealer told me as well but not quite. They said one of my sensors was leaking on the transmission by the top I forget the name of it, which it was, all over my exhaust. So I put it back in the shop for a transmission job. Today is the lucky day I've been waiting for since I had the car. I always wanted this car to be right. Time to seek revenge on all cars that tailgaited me.

Heheh, I love being able to run away from any car on the road. Leave those cocky SOBs in your dust, eh? Let us know how she runs.

Its a great feeling to finally be "there" on an old Q, when it stops being (for the moment) a rolling to-do list.

Enjoy the ride.

Sounds like a turbine sensor. Replace the rear engine seal while you are in there.

I just posted a topic on infiniti online mechanic about the car now having a problem with starting at times then on another occasion the car starts fine. From the post I read i'm going to take the car to Auto Zone for the alternator/battery tester to get to the bottom of this. On thing about Q45's is that you fall in love with them and get so happy when things are ok then something bad happens out the blue. But I guess that's cars for you.
