I couldn't find any threads that answered my question so here it is. How many people are running a Megan Racing down pipe with a flex section? If so how do you like it and hows the quality?

I'm running the non flex downpipe, with a self installed flex section. It's lasted all summer and fall, as well as a bunch of track days so far with no problems ...

It's just exhaust pipe? Buy it, and you'll be happy...again to quote myself:

And trust me, I can assure you I beat my car hard on the track. I'm not scuured of tearing my car up one bit.

megan downpipe, flex or non flex bout are good quality. I'm running a non flex downpipe and it serves its purpose. As far as performance, an aftermarket downpipe are basically the same when the diameter is the same. My friend is running the flex version of the downpipe on his EVO, you don't really notice the difference but its just good to know that it'll "give" with the flex section.

Keep in mind there is nothing wrong with the stock SR downpipe. The horsepower difference from a stock sr downpipe to a three inch downpipe is 1 horsepower gain. And thats dyno test/proven, thats how i know that.. But, it will give you a deeper sounding exhaust if the three inch is continued the rest of the way.
