yes i understand this is the Altima engine driving & tuning topic but i figured since MPH/MPG deals with the engine it would be okay  I have no idea why it took me a while to ask/post this up but before i swapped out my halogen lights to HID I disconnected the neg from the battery. now when i did that it resetted my whole ecu and now my fuel gauge is messed up. my MPG is 18.7 and my MPH is 13.3 :wtf2: ...can anyone help me out here?.....

Fuel gauge is messed up? Please be specific.

Also the MPG/MPH is an average. The more you drive the more this will be spot on over time. How long have you experienced this?

every time you take off the neg batt wire it will reset all the trip/mpg/mph,radio stations...etc. Nothing to worry about, it will eventually go back the way it was the more you drive.

As for the fuel gauge, do you mean the actual gauge that shows how much fuel you have left or just the mpg computer?
