MPH gauge cluster problem

My S14 gauge cluster is not accurate when im driving around 30mph it shows 60-65mph and also the odometer is not moving my question is do i need to get another cluster or reconnect it? any advice or help would be great [email protected]

Stupid question: are you running kmh instead of mph? Cuz 60-65 km is about 30 mi.

If the odo isn't workign tho, then ur speed sensor is probably on the way out.

I know you can get your cluster rebuilt for about a couple bills. Do a search for that.

If your digital speedo is actually showing #'s all the time tho, then that probably means ur speedo is ok, but the speed sensor/signal generator in the engine may be bad - sending the wrong signal.

If your digital speedo does not light up all the time, then that explains why your odo don't work. This is prob cuz your speed sensor unit is bad - which is on the cluster.
