Take to a local dealer and have it fixed under warranty. At least that what it sounds like is needed. If it is time for an oil change the maintenance alert may be on if enabled, not the service light.brettpbuchanan wrote:I recently purchased a 2007 G35 sedan with 17,000 miles from LuxuryMotors in Chicago. The vehicle was deliver with the "service enginesoon" on. I was very angry but was assured by a Luxury Motors employeethat the light would turn off after I got an oil change. After I gotan oil change the light is still on and I am currently getting around14-16 miles per gallon on premium fuel (93 octane) and synthetic oil.One of the main reasons I purchased this vehicle is because of thegood fuel economy this G35 is suppose to get. I drive probably 75% ofthe time on the highway to and from work and am not an aggressivedriver. Sorry I am new to this forum but would appreciate anysuggestions and/or advice!!!
thank you

I don't know if this would or could occur on the 'G'. But on one of my Chryslers this happened and it turned out to be the seal for the gas cap. After paying attention to this the problem disappeared, maybe because of the seal swelling or something along those lines.brettpbuchanan wrote:I recently purchased a 2007 G35 sedan with 17,000 miles from LuxuryMotors in Chicago.
