I don't know my range because I never let it get low but I average about 20 MPG on my 140 mile daily commute.97Q45

I also don't let my car get that low or gas but normally on a 15.5-16.3 fill up, I get 320 miles. Driving the speed limit, breaking early, and taking off slow I managed 370 once, but I couldn't drive like that on a normal basis

I'm with you brother. Driving the speed limit is a recipe for a nervous breakdown!!

Driving the speed limit does drive me crazy, but i keep doing it, because paying off tickets drives me EVEN more crazy.

I average around 320 > 15gallons

I don't drive the speed limit ever, but speeding is pretty much accepted out here. You can cruise 85 all day on the fwy (traffic allowing) with no worries and I go 10-20 over pretty much everywhere else. That said, I get about 13 mpg in my mostly city driving and I'd say it reflects my driving style. I can get 20 mpg on a road trip @ 85 w/ AC on.

Damn how the hell do you guys get over 300miles. The best i'v gotten on a full tank was 240. I dont floor it, take off and break smoothly. Any reason why my mpg might be so low? A full tank costs me $60.00 and that usually goes for just a week. Any help?

P.S. Spark plugs are recently changed, same thing with air filter, and fuel filter.

I usually get 15-17mpg in the city, and that's not driving the speed limit.

On a recent 560mile highway round trip, I got 22mpg averaging 90-100mph for a good 80% of the trip. (I had a newer 5 Series following me for part of the time that wanted to keep up).

I have kept very close track of the miles I have gotten out of each tank.

NEVER was it less than 265, and that was only once, in my first week of owning the car. This was before I did some maintenance, and the next closest incident was 274.

On average of 20,000 miles driven I have received 302 mptank.

I agree with the 375, but this is VERY difficult to do...I've hit that easily on a LONG highway trip, but around town it takes incredible discipline to be that easy on the pedal and hard on the brakes.

Every-time I fill-up, I calculate my MPG. It is consistently between 20 and 23 MPG. I drive mostly on the highway and try to not to be to heavy on the gas pedal. I usually get between 310 to 350 miles per 15 gallon fill-up.

I'll sometimes try to break my record for MPG, but damn it gets boring trying to drive that softly...I just need to floor it every once in awhile

Wide open throttle for 60 seconds doesn't even use 4/10 of a gallon less than $1 worth.

Just that a frisky driver does 5-10 seconds worth FREQUENTLY...........those quarters add up. Not to mention tire and brake pad charges.
