Does modding your car, like putting a cold air intake and new exhaust or basic things like that make your mpg worse? thats all, thanx

yes, putting on intakes, exhausts, and ignition upgrades will usually get you some better fuel milage. they all make your engine more effiecent. i have:intake, 3" cat-back, and accell coil and i get 310 miles out of 3/4 tank of fuel.

yeah the underdrive pulley will give you a lot more MPG. it takes away some power from the AC and such, which in give better MPG. Well I could be BSin, but this is true to an extent.

with the stock restrictive intake and exhuast your engine has to work harder to suck and blow, so it does cut down somewhat on gas mileage. i really doubt youll notice a huge differance though, because with mods you will drive faster and in turn lower your mpg.

As long as you don't go too far into the throttle, you can keep the mpg high.
