I am new to this thread. I bought a used Nissan Altima 07 few months ago. I totally forgot enquiring about the CD player when buying the car from the dealer. Looks like it does not play MP3s?? (it says "No Audio Track to play" or something like that and spits out the disc).
Is this common in Nissan's Altimas? Also, there is nothing marked on the CD player unit (i.e., it does not show whether it is kenwood or whatever...)
How are you guys playing MP3s in your altimas?
Thanks,Scientist
What i did was go to crutchfield.com and see what fits in the car, you can buy from them or you can go to ebay and look for it on therescientist wrote:Thanks for the replies. Pardon my ignorance...but what is an Aftermarket head unit?Where do I get one compatible with my '07 altima?Typically how much do they cost? How do I get it installed?Does it require taking out the existing factory installed player in the car?(If yes, does it void my current warranty?)Could you post any links related to Aftermarket head units and where I can buy them?
Thanks,Scientist
Ya I didnt realize that my head unit wouldnt play MP3's I thought it would be a standard thing. I just hook up my MP3 player through the Aux input. The cheapest and fastest way to do it.scientist wrote:Hi,
