I thought the dealer told me I could connect my Ipod in my new M35. Does anyone know where or if I can use it? Thanks, Mulligan

I don't have the tech package, but if you do, I think you can use the RCA jacks in the back of the center console. You will need a cable that is RCA on one side and 1/8 inch stereo on the other.

Yeh you have to have the tech package. I have the package and I use the RCA cable in the back seat. The sound quality is superb mp3! The tech package was so worth it just for that feature. My music is very important to me so this way I get to take my songs with me anywhere i go.

I use my iPod hooking into the RCA jacks as well. Compared to using a cassette adapter on my last car, I have to turn up the volume on the iPod and stereo much more to the point of distorting the sound.

But apart from the volume issue, yes you can hook it up if you have the tech package. If you don't, the dealer told you wrong. If you don't have the tech package, there are some forums I've seen online for Infiniti cars where you can use a PAC adapter and some custom wiring to get your iPod hooked into the SAT input. But since all of our Ms have SAT, you'd be out of luck.

it has to be the advanced tech pkg..the regular tech pkg has no aux plugs in the center console.

You can tell if the car has the right technology package because it will have the speakers built into the top of the front seats

Is this true? I have tech sport. I have speakers on my seats. Can I hook up my MP3 player to the a/v hook up below the back seat vent?
