Sorry for the question, but I searched all the forums without an answer. My owners manual says nothing about connecting an Ipod or mp3 player. I can't imagine not being able to do this on my 04 G35. Any help would be appreciated.

It's not in the manual because you can't with OEM equipment. Factory iPod integration didn't really get off the ground until more recently, and it's still coming out on only select vehicles. You have to go to the aftermarket to do this.

I bought an aftermarket integrated cable that plugs into the satellite port on the back of the factory radio on my 2003. Cleanest signal compared to FM Transmitters, it charges the ipod with no visible cables. I ran my cable through the arm rest.

Fairly tedious install as you have to remove a lot to get to the radio an run cable to arm rest. If you have done any self installs you can do it - just allow a couple hours.

Does this device work on any G ?

Mine is 04, with Bose, and I don't have satellite radio. Will it work for me?

You don't need to have satellite radio - but you should have the satellite radio BUTTON.

They have another version that adds steering wheel controls - and I believe it displays ipod info on the radio. It is a little more expensive.

With the one I posted, you can plug it into the satellite radio input.

So the way this works is, you plug one end into the Satellite jack in the back of the radio, and the other end goes into the Ipod?

Basically. There's installation instructions in the link I posted, that'll show you how it works.
