I'm new to NICCO. Looks like a great forum.

I have a 2006 G35x which has a CD player that claims it can play "MP3" discs. But I've made MP3 discs both with iTunes and Acoustica and none of those discs will play in the car stock system. The disc does play on the computer and other devices that I have which will play MP3 discs. I've checked the manual and posts here but can't seem to solve it. Does each song have to be in its own folder? When I put the disc in, it sounds like its trying to read it, but then is says "check disc" and shuffles to another disc which is store bought. I'm using Memorex CD-R . Any one have any idea? Kindest.

Welcome to NICO!!

I've always used NERO to burn MP3 disks...

No, you don't have to have a folder for each song. I used folders for different albums or groups of music.

Just to make sure, do other disks work? (regular CDs)

I was able to get it to work. Do you recommend having folders so that its easier to navigate through hundreds of songs?

Yes!! depending on how you want to organize...I made a "best of" disk with different folders for each music genre. Another way is to have each bands album as a folder (provided they have multiple albums). Metallica CD FTW!
