Cool, I bid on it. I need a new headunit, my old one can't read all my CDs anymore.

Figured I'd just pop in and say that the 5500 is a GREAT deck. I've got one in my Maxima. I love it.

When it says it plays MP3's, does that mean I can hook up an iPod to it or something?

It means you can burn MP3 files onto a CD, even using layered folder structures, and it'll play them and navigate the folder structure. Same with WMA. It's just the format--still all on CD. But you can fit tons of songs on a CD. For instance, I have all 6 Korn albums, and a few of their "other" songs on one WMA CD. I have them sorted into folders, by CD name. So, effectively, it functions like a low-capacity iPod. Also, the deck reads CD-RW, so you can rewrite in MP3 and WMA, which is quite nice.

You COULD hook an iPod up to any deck, using and iCruz, though..
