I'm interested in placing MP3s onto a CD as an alternative to old fashioned audio CDs. I am the pleased new owner of a brand 2008 Altima 2.5s

I have an audio CD that works FTR.

I tried throwing 109 MP3s onto a disk using Nero 6 as both the "Data Disc" type and the "MP3 Disc" type. Both of these show up as "No audio track" for a second, then it spits the disk out and goes back to the radio.

I see just above half way vertically on the display it can display WMA and MP3, so I'm assuming the cd player can handle such disks.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I do not have a Bose system (judging by the fact it does not say Bose above it like it does in pictures I've seen).

It says WMA and MP3 in the screen LCD display, yet to see those lights get lit though =/

I have a 2.5s, that's all I know - don't know anything about the packages. I just found this page: http://www.nissanusa.com/altim....html that says I may or may not have it...

Documenting my solution here...

My phone (Blackberry 8800) has mp3 playing support and a 2GB external micro-SD slot that I've had music on and will continue using a lot more of.

I got one of these:2.5mm M to 3.5mm F adaptershttp://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...8.lVI

and a regular speaker cable (found in billions of places, it's a 3.5mm M to 3.5mm M - 1/12") to plug into the aux port.

For the record 2.5mm = 1/12" and 3.5mm = 1/8". Around Ohio we say inches, but it seems the web and the majority of world like this metric thinger.
