do mp3 cd's work on all altima players? mine dont seem to work. i get an error message all the time but my burned audio cd's work. anyone know?

only the bose ones do. It took me a while to figure it out too. I played with the buttons when i got the coupe and when you cycle through the disp button it tries to display artist and song titles, but I guess thats just for cd's with text built in.

Yes, display will show Song Title and Album, only when the text was there before burning (ID3 Tags I think). The sad part is that *real* CD's almost never have these texts.

I personally think that the A/C not playing mp3's without the Bose is a load of crap. Many many entry level cars nowadays play mp3's no problem. Tsk tsk to Nissan to make mp3's Bose only to push their Premium package. Mp3's are hardly "Premium"; they're everywhere.
