I read a gew posts about this vibrating issue on first gen q.

I noticed the steeringwheel vibrating today, then when put in neutral, it disappeared and re-appeared on shifter.

time for motor, exhaust and transmission mounts you think?

The main problem is to stop the vibrations before they start and then get transmitted to body. ENGINE IDLE BALANCE and correct idle rpm in neutral and drive!

so you dont think its the mounts,,,the thing is, vibration sometimes happens, most of time it is silky smooth.

it idles right at 6 ,but i do notice some vibration when engine is cold. do you think its still engine idle balance?

Lots of difference in 600, or 625, or 650 or 675 rpm in Drive and 725, 737, 750, 775 in Neutral ..........which is it and does it stay within 12 rpm when AC turn on/off and steering wheel is turned under load.Until the engine warms to 170F and stablizes yoiu must ignore the vibration.
