Me and a lady friend of mine are finally getting the hell out of the oven that is AZ. Packing our s***, and heading up to WA. Gonna be taking the scenic route, Highway 1, all the way up the coast. We already have a few places we're gonna be making pitstops at, but I don't know much about anything over there.

So then, my NICO brethren, what sights are a must see along the way? I've never traveled much so I'm relying on you guys to make good decisions for me. Wow, did I just say I want you guys to make GOOD decisions for me? I must be drunk...

But I digress. We're open to any suggestions, so just start listing s*** off the CA, OR, WA coast and we'll throw it in our itinerary.

Explore the sand dunes near Florence
Climb the big-a** sand dune and sample the beer at Pelican Brew Pub in Pacific City
Visit theTillamook cheese factory and air museum.
Explore the tidepools near Haystack rock at cannon beach.
Visit the Oregon coast aquarium in Newport (with rogue brewery right down the street)
Drive on the beach at Gearhart
Hit up Seaside for the arcade and the largest candy store on the west coast
Visit the oldest port on the west coast at Astoria and take a tour of the old WW2 Fort Stevens.

That's all I got, never really went further south or North than that on 101.

Also...f*** I MISS OREGON.

f*** christ I'm tired of NICO logging me out. I was typing up a message and it asked me to log in again, then lost the message I typed out.

Here's part of what I remember writing:

Which way are you headed to get to the PCH? Coming west off the 10? If so, hit me up and we can grab some food and/or beers.

You should go through the Redwood Forest and go see the Golden Gate Bridge. If you know "the Converted" (Mark), he's in the San Francisco Bay area.
