I'm looking to buy a house around Douglasville, GA. My g/f is studding nursing and I'm an accountant but I'm seeking my degree.

How hard is to find a job? What is the best city in your opinion?Do you know anything about Douglasville? What about a College or University?

Any info would help me to make the best decision I'm planning on taking couple of trips to Douglasville within the next couple of months to see couple of houses and provably job interviews.

Thanks

Well I live in douglasville, have about 6 240's in my driveway, you find good work in atlatna, depending on what you want to do. I like douglasville because it's close to the interstae but housing isn't too exspensive. I went to West Ga for business.

i like north of atlanta about 30 minute drive from there. Jobs donno about that but where i live most ppl are rich bastards (east cobb). uhh as for colleges/univ theres UGA (pretty normal college),Georgia tech (one of the best tech colleges in nation), Emory (one of top twenty best colleges in nation), Georgia southern (donno), Georgia state university (donno either). yeah and housing is pretty cheap. just live in a place where the schools arent too good and house prices should be cheaper.

I live in south Atlanta, Henry County. The housing market is definitely a "buyers" market. I'm about 30 min from the airport, close enough to be close to everything, but far enough to not hear the air traffic. I'm an undergrad student at a state college, Clayton State University which has an excellent nursing program. Check out the south side! If you're into NASCAR, Atlanta Motor Speedway is really close...looking forward to NOPI in September!!

if you're an accountant, georgia state has one of the best business programs in georgia along w/ uga. georgia state is close to I-20 so going from douglasville to state wouldn't be so hard. about a 30 minute drive from douglasville to atlanta. i know a girl studying radiology at west central technical college to go into nursing, and they also have a campus in douglasville. you're also really close to six flags.

My girlfriend is from carrolton so she has a lot of friends in villa rica and douglasville. I believe they also have Z1 motorsports in carrolton, for all your Nissan needs. douglasville also has the mall that everyone goes to from carrolton and villa rica. west georgia university is also in carrolton.

I think the best cities to live in and around GA would be peachtree city, columbus, midtown, roswell, and even douglasville would be a very convenient location. good luck on the move!
