I know this has already been discussed, because I read it a while back. I can't find the thread though. Well anyways, I am thinking about putting my MAFS infront of my throttle body after the bov, so it gets a more accurate reading and i don't have to worry about reciculating. I am just trying to remember what if any were the negatives of doing this. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

No one has noted any real negatives. If you're able to, please note the AFR before and after you move the MAF. I'm interested to see how it effects the idle air fuel ratio. Since obviously the temperature will be different then say a CAI.

The difference is that you might wreck the MAFS. Some people have had no problems, some people have had problems. Its tough to pinpoint the cause but good luck.

I had to move my drawthrough MAF into the fender about 18" from the turbo to keep the readings proper.

yeah, draw-through is the way to go, no crazy pressures on the MAF housing, you'll notice most factory turbo cars that use a flow based metering setup do drawthrough...
