OK, so my problem is this. our pathy has been in an accident by its former owner. he was stopped at a red light and got rear ended. the insurance company totaled it, due to the fact that the frame warped. it pushed the bumper, reese hitch down thus making the liftgate unopenable, and prevented the back doors from opening. since my wife and i have taken ownership all doors are functional. the only thing i question now is a way to be able to tow with her. we're planning on moving from NC to south Florida, instead of renting a uhaul truck and towing a vehicle it'd be more cost effective to simply tow a uhaul trailer and drive both our vehicles. so my question is: Is there an angled trailer hitch? or can i drill more holes in the brackets to straighten the hitch (if i were to take this route would it be safe?)

It's not just that the rear section is bent, your issue will be metal fatigue from the force it took to bend it. I would highly discourage trying to tow with the vehicle. You don't know how much damage that cant be seen. You could end up losing the trailer during the tow.
