They will definately not be flush.

Don't run staggered tire sizes on the same size wheels. Run a 215/45 all around. If you did get the 235, it would not rub in the rear, but still, staggered setups are lame on the same size wheels.

naed240sx knows what he's talking about, but there is a separate wheel/tire section with all kinds of helpful information.

wheel and tire forum

a lot of members that would have possibly helped you dont appreciate the attitude you have towards learning. this is stuff that you should know before messing with it. if you want specific answers, contact information is provided in members' profiles and you might be better off going that route instead of starting the ten thousandth offset thread in the 240sx/silvia general section.

Depending on your definition of flush you will need a 15-25 millimeter spacer. Never buy wheels without knowing what the hell it is your buying.

I know the 5 zigens are cheap and affordable, but I would suggest to anyone going to spend money on them to look around for maybe something a little different. Out here they are soooo belly button its rediculious, they might as well come as stock wheels on 240's. The wheels will not be flush, you won't have any clearance issues, and you can run whatever tire size you desire on them without issues. Hope that helps...

yeah, because of their offsets, they are generally found on hondas. dont worry about what other people are using, to tell you the truth i hvae seen maybe 2 240's in the 5 years ive lived here. anything i do to my car is original to me, and it should be the same for you.

ya i hear ya on that, thats mainly my whole reason for getting the 5zigen cause all the 240s and hondas out here have the same rim black with a polished lip, and the 5zigen come all black..also i heard of a rim called black racing that come with no polished lip but if i order those it will take 6 months till i recieve cause they are discontiuned

17x7+35 and 17x8+35 will fit fine. I would reccomend 215s and 225s for those.

They won't be flush, especially in the front. The best FN01rc size is the SPL custom 17x9+20. They WILL be flush, and can be run all around with a roll in front and a small roll and pull in rear, with conservative camber, with 235s all around. This size is 40mm closer to the fender than the 17x7s that you plan on.

If you are afraid of 17x9s, go with the 17x8+35 all around with 225/45/17, and use a small spacer up front to clear coilovers if you have them.

Fine. But don't get 17x7 front. Get 17x8 all around with the 215s if you want. However, 225s all around would be better, and wouldn't look as sunken.

Unless you are making tons of power, a non-staggered setup feels way better and more neutral, and 7" wheels just plain suck.

Get 225 all around. It is a perfect fit on an 8" wide wheel. It won't rub.

I ran that size on the front of my car for awhile, and even at a track event, with my car lowered about 3.5", and at full lock under compression, It did not rub.

You are at stock ride height, so it's gonna be super hard to make anything rub.

On Eibachs?

That much of a drop will blow your shocks and struts super quick. You will also be loosing 2 inches of compression travel, which gonna screw up handling pretty bad if the springs are soft, which they are.

It will handle like crap, and you will blow your shocks quick, even though they are kyb.

kyb are simply stock replacements. They aren't very special. Eibach springs are pretty much the same spring rates as the stock ones, so you will end up bottoming out on everything, and you will hit the bumpstops on your shocks ALL THE TIME.

Eibach and kyb is a terrible setup.
