I'm in the market for some new mounts soon. What's so special about Nismo compared to OEM? Some would consider Nismo to be OEM so lets call them stock.

The rubber used is stiffer than stock. If your mounts are shot you will definately feel a difference. I threw some on when I did my swap and it was like night and day. Very solid feel and hardly any movement from the engine. If you want a little bit more hardcore for a higher price you can go with Kazama mounts. They are polyurethane. Nismo is a very good bang for the buck though. The set of 3 (transmission included) can be had for around $200.

i know the nismo mounts also make the motor sit a little bit higher, so some strut bars may not clear. i know this has been discussed alot, so if you have a strut bar you might wanna search.

Just FYI pilot strut bars work fine if you are thinking about getting the mounts. Check Phase 2.

Well does it matter that I'm going turbo eventually? And is the only difference the stiffness? It could just be the fact that it's a better material, and obviously it will be like night and day because you just went from broken to fixed. You would feel a difference with the stock anyways.
