mounting Sparco speed seats

Just picked up some sparco speed seats , ive heard complaints about them sitting too high on sparco rails , do I have any other options

Hello,

I have a Sparco Speed on Wedge Engineering brackets with a slider rail. I have a coupe with a sunroof and "tall" hair (lol).....

Sometimes my hair brushes the roof under certain driving situations but I personally like the height increase while driving. However, wearing a helmet guarentees that it rubs against the roof.

Now I'm looking for a coupe without a sunroof.

In answer to your question, aside from making your own bracket, I don't know what to tell you. But yeah, you sit higher.

pretty sure you can use bride seat rails with Sparco seats. I have a Bride FG rail on order for my Sparco Pro2000.

you'd have to modify the bracket to make it set low. but the way the seat sets gives you very commanding control of the car. IMO. however mounting it to moded bracket did save my life in a roll over.. anyways they are sweet seats.

What is a good budget sliding seat rail for the 240?

Wedge, they make all kinds of "budget" stuff, about 1/2 -3/4the price of actual sparco or whatever item.

isnt the bride a side mount? do they make sliders...whats a good company that makes sliders that will fit a sparco or whatever
