Mounting S14VLSD into S13

Pleas Help I can not find answers to my questions anywhere (I have searched the internet for days). I am planning on intsalling this tomorrow. I am stuck on one thing about the install and it is the way it mounts in the front. I went ahead and order the 2 front mounting bushings from nissan. My question is do i just run a longer bolt through these bushings or should i get a spacer to help the bushings with the stress from the diff? Does anybody know the correct size for the bolt I will need. Advice from anybody who knows or has done the Swap (S14 VLSD into S13)will be greatly appreciated.Thanks!!!

The best way is to get the bolts that came out of the donor S14. They will be significantly longer and will work just fine. If not, you can use washers (as many as you need) to get it to bolt up tight. I used a J30 VLSD and used the donor bolts, worked like a charm.

Thanks for yor reply!! Yeah I did not get the bolts they were not there. Yeah i think i am going to get washers and try to take my bolts (from my S13) and go to the hardware store and find one with the same thread pitch just longer. Will the bolts from a Non VLSD S14 work?Thanks!!!

Just bought the S14 mounting bolts and the correct washers from Nissan. Can i Ditch the ABS sensor wire since I do not have ABS or do I need to Keep it on and just zip tie it out of the way?Thanks!!!

I cut the wire right next to the unit on the VLSD and left it. It won't hurt anything. The only reason I can think to keep the wire and harness around is if in fact in the future you bought at ABS 240 and decided to swap them.

so i guess that means its an ABS wire? i have been wondering about that. also, i have an 89 w/ABS, but the stock diff didnt have the wire on it. where would i conect these wires from the vlsd in my 89? thanks
