mounting low profile tires

is there any tips to help me mount a low profile tire? i have 235/40/17 and i tried today and hard quite the hard time (small, stiif sidewall).

any help is greatly appreciated

Same question. I mounted a set of Azenis on a 9.5j wheel with 235 tires and it went on easy. My want to try some beads to hold the tire down beneath the beading area of the wheels. That will help give the sidewall some more rubber to work with and allows it to flex some more.

yeah mani slapped a 225/40 on a 10jwent on like butta

but a 225/45 was a PITA due to sidewall softness **** michelin

thats nothing try mounting a goodyear runflat 285/35-19 corvette tire.

when I mount these I use 2 pry bars at 2 different points of the wheel, just be carefull because if you apply to much pressure on the points the tire might tear.
