Mounting bracket for Radio

Hi everyone.I have an Alpine CVA-1004 (single Din) with a screen that slides out on a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder LE. My only issue is that when the screen is out it blocks the heating controls. Therefore anytime I want to turn the heat on or just lower it or even turn the defroster on I have to close the screen which is a nuisance. ALL of the mounting brackets that I have come across have the opening at the top of the mounting bracket. I was hoping that someone was able to find a solution for thisThanks

Go double din

Purchase a double din kit and purchase seperatly a radio pocket? That was the road I was going to go just wasnt sure if it would work

I'm pretty certain that any double-din install kit will be reversible and you can just flip the entire assembly. At least that was the case with the double-din install kit I had before I bought my double-din head unit. Regardless, I doubt you would want the head unit below the pocket, I think the shifter would block the screen from extending out while flipping open.
