Should have some real good response with that turbo.

this one has been upgraded to 360 thurst bearing...i think 350hp on this puppy shouldn't be hard. we'll see how it goes on high boost :)

I beleave that turbo is rated at 350 HP. Nice little alternative to the stock ceramic turbo's that our RB's are blessed with (<---- Say that outloud and you will sound like a pirate)

Ok, please enlighten me a bit as I'm trying to decide on turbo selection myself.

The Super 60 is technically a Straight T3, no? What advantage would that turbo have over say a T3/T4 hybrid with the same exhaust housing characteristics? (.63 A/R and same Stage wheel)I was planning on a T3/TO4E with a .63 hot side, but a bit undecided for the compressor spec's...just wondering what made you choose the Super 60.Do you have a flow chart/compressor map for this specific turbo with the RB20, and please let me know how it boosts. :)

Sorry for the trouble but the Forced Induction forum is dead.

yes, the super60 is a straight T3. it comes in different configuration: [.48 a/r turbine + .60 a/r compressor] and [.63 a/r turbine, .60 a/r compressor]. mine is the .63.

i have this turbo for little over 2-years. the main reason i'm using this one is because the rb20's stock turbo won't last w/ with me for long and the super60 is sitting on the shelf collecting dust. the stockie isn't as efficeint as the super 60 and wouldn't withstand high boosts.

if i do not already have a turbo on the side and need to replace the stockie, i would go with the T3/T04E or one that is rated for 450-500hp

the t3/t4e is not rated at 500 horsepower. the compressor is rated at 460lbs per minute which equates to around 400whp.

what do you mean t3/t4e? There are TONS of combinations of a t3/t4 they probably range from just under 400whp to like 650+ whp. Depending on combination of wheels housings etc.

I also think, like yellow said, this will be a very responsive turbo on the 20.... I honestly think you will be pretty happy with it.

Side note... what you you doing for a wastegate?Let us know how it goes!
