knowing how to manage your money does not mean not ever being in debt. its about knowing when debt is okay to have, how much to have, and when to pay it back. debt is not necessairly bad - how do you think bisnuesses and companies get started? It's just if you cant handle it, or you go beyond your means, thats when you get in trouble

I figured out what I wanted, figured out how much I was making and how much I could afford to repay each month, set a budget.. then went out and bought everything I need. I guess it kind of sucks that I'm going to be wearing pretty much the same clothes for the next year or so, and not going out to party very much.... but having a 2.0, turbo-charged, RWD sports car is so worth it to me. :D

Phax man, it's great to hear that someone else is in debt for their SR. I thought i was the only one that didnt pay up-front.

I was once turned down for a bank loan for this exact reason (well, not as extreme as the example).

This is easily remedied. You can ask your credit card company to lower your limits, and then reapply for the loan again in two months or so.

True, but if you have that many credit cards, why would you need a loan? hehe...

well i got about 4000 dollars of medical bills cause I spent about 12 hours in one damn crappy hospital!!! I mean the Plaza Hotel in NYC wont charge that much for a stinking night for one of their presidential suites. Anyways after all those tests they found out there was nothing wrong with me so there, pay up buddy. I still havent payed and that happened in September.
