yeah, I am in the market for some better brake fluid, I just want to know if there is any significant difference between generic stuff vs expensive stuff... whether if you think it's worth it or not, and how often you flush the system

Autozone carries some great stuff such as ValvolineSynPower DOT3/4 Brake fluid.

Wet boiling point 384F dry bp 502F (!).

80% of the performacne of a premiukm fluid like Motul for a third of the price or less.

And only 20-30% more than the generic stuff.chnage brakefluid every 18 months.

I also rock the synpower brake fluid, good stuff. I can get it for 4.50 for the big one at a local farm chain store called farm and fleet just a couple more cents at the zone though.

any brand name DOT 4 or higher should be fine. You are supposed to change the fluid more frequently with the higher grades I have read somewhere.

Motul is some great stuff though if you can find it. The valvoline stuff is up there with it but i like the motul better. I got it for free so i cant complain

I'm rocking the cheap AutoZone junk....and my car stops like it should...but then again I don't have Z32 Brakes and I really don't do mountain runs (yet...hahah) where you have to worry about brake fading and high temps...I do alot of parking lot drifting and I haven't noticed anything bad about braking yet.
